I took a Guillow’s model plan of a P-40 and drew each part out to full scale by hand. I then cut each part out and assembled as a full scale model. I covered it with aluminum and painted it my self. It is not perfect so don’t laugh, but I enjoyed the project.

The # 20 is for my son who passed away 13 years ago, 20 was his football number. Then 209 on the tail in honor of a friend of mine who’s dad was a Flying Tiger. 209 was his plane’s number. He is buried in Arlington National Cemetery.
