P-40E

This is my latest P-40 Model;
Hasegawa's 1/48 P-40E. I loved the model! What a great build
it was and I can't wait to do another one!
I used Modelmaster Enamels,
using a medium green (FS#35092 as per the profiles I had) for
the upper surfaces and Neautral grey on the lowers. Shading
of the control surfaces was done by lightening the base color
with some light grey in stages. Markings are Aeromaster and
are for Capt. Bill Heddon of the 49th FG, Kit is weathered using
thinned oils and pastels. Guns and exhausts are drilled out
and the antenna is stretched sprue.
