Here are some pics of my fathers (George Maude) P-40E. The aircraft is RCAF #1034 and was purchased by him after the war in a crown assets sale of aircraft. The first picture shows the airplane in 1941 over Nova Scotia, Canada, The second picture is the airplane arriving at Salt Spring Island, British Columbia, Canada after being purchased ( towed from Pat Bay Air Station to Salt Spring Island by a fishing boat while on a raft of logs!). The rest of the pictures show how she looks today back at Pat Bay Airport, Sidney, British Columbia.
