Title: P-4D WeeHawk Post by: liquorboxracing on November 19, 2012, 12:32:40 PM I thought I would share this with everyone here. I am currently restoring/customizing a 1978 Sears Manco Mini-Bike. When I got this bike, my friend gave me a bicycle handlebar mounted toy plane for it that has a spinning prop. I knew from that point I wanted to do a P-40 Flying Tigers type paint scheme on it. I made the front number plate and the two side plates for it and hand painted the shark mouths and roundal on them. I also hand painted the pinup girl on the side of the engine cover. I made the ammo box on the back. It houses a battery for the lights. A friend of mine machine the brass bullet casing foot pegs for me. I put spent 209 shotgun primers in the end of them. I still need to redo the exhaust, finish the chain gaurd, and wire the lights. I am going to have a leather seat cover made for it as well. I hope to finish it up over the winter. Here's a few pics of it so far.
