Title: Paint question on a 33rd FG P-40E? Post by: P-40 Admin on July 15, 2008, 12:38:20 PM Does anyone know what color the spinner is on this aircraft? The photo was extremely dark and I have lightened it up, I can't tell if it's light blue or light green or some other color? I would like to paint my 1/48th model in this scheme. :)

Is there where you got your photograph as well? Since I'm not the best at guessing colors, I'll just post it and let you or someone else decide:

The photo was so dark you couldn't see much so I lightened it some and I lightened it even more for posting here. Haven't been able to find a site that shows marking colors for the P-40, but I have found them for some other aircraft in the past.
