Title: French P-40 Lafayette
Post by: colossusfr on October 18, 2008, 06:26:40 AM
Hi everybody,

I'm French and I'm webmaster of this website : http://maquette72.free.fr/index.php
I big part of this website is about the French Lafayette Squadron. It is one of the oldest squadron in French Air Force and the one which has the strongest link between US and France since 1917.

During 1942-1944, this Squadron had flown with P-40F and P-40L plane.
I have done few articles about this specific period. You can find topics about history (http://maquette72.free.fr/themes/lafayette/P40_normal/P40_historique.php), planes (http://maquette72.free.fr/themes/lafayette/P40_normal/P40_avions.php), models  (http://maquette72.free.fr/themes/lafayette/P40_maquette/revues_maquettes.php)and decals (http://maquette72.free.fr/themes/lafayette/P40_maquette/revues_decals.php).
There are also some models. Evrything about the lafayette can found here (http://maquette72.free.fr/themes/lafayette/lafayette.php)

I'm very sorry because all is written in French. But you can find many photos. And some of you may have some news to add to these topics. I could be a pleasure for me.

Hope you enjoy.
Alain.

Hello Alain,

Thanks for the link to your website!  Unfortunately, I don't understand French but the photographs and portraits are very interesting.

Regards,

Mark
