I got my second 1/32 Hasegawa P-40 kit delivered, the -K. Looking at this kit I see one piece exhaust stacks and a corrected front glass part!!! I am very tempted to build this one using the kit decals of Hyde's Harlot. I am now searching for material on this plane but I so far could only find a side view, painted, in the Squadron book on AF Colors Pacific 42-47. What I have also found was a report on the long distance transition of the 78th FS from Hawaii to Midway and later back...flying! Does anybody have more infos on this bird, pictures maybe...Kodachrome???
