TP-40 Verticle Fin #35487

Hi All,
For two years now I've been trying to locate information on a two place trainer version TP-40 Verticle Fin #35487.  The nose art on this aircraft is the picture of a dachshund with the words "Short Snorter" written above it.  If ANYONE out there has any information on this airplane, please contact me at my email address:  rglarson@oregontrail.net.

The owner of the aviation museum called "Fantasy of Flight" out of Kissimmee Florida has a TP-40, if you look up the museum they may be able to help you with the information on it.
Or if you know what training unit or AAF Field it was out of try googling that on the net.
