Looking forward to watching this build unfold.  I really like the AMT P-40K; it's a relatively easy, straightforward kit.

Regards,

Hi.
Camouflage and NOSE - ART is very curious. I have however sure doubts regarding colouring. Temperate Scheme 1941-42 is not statdard camouflage, but the British exchangeable Du Point.
Dark Green is Du Point 71-013 - FS43052, Dark Earth is Du Point 71-009 - FS30117. Equivalents Humbrol is 149 & 118.  I would prefer however to depict with different paints. I in colours MODEL MASTER did not find equivalents unfortunately. Colours GUNZE AQUEROS H 073 and they H 072 seem weird.
To explanation, the matter of colour of bottom surfaces stays also, this PALE BLUE or  SKY ?

If you can me in some way help, thank You.

Best Regards
Krystian.

Wow, you are really moving along on this one quickly!  Very unusual markings, I don't remember ever seeing this one before?  I'll is like seeing the markings, especially on a model of ones that aren't always done.  Are you doing the nose art by hand? The colors for the camouflage look really close to some color photos I have in a book, when you weather the model, you could try fading the paint a little, that might help a little with the realism as the sun was very hard on the paint.

Hello.

NOSE - ART then decal from Hasegawa kit. It on pictures is discoulour a bit, for pink. it in reality is more in colour of skin. This really it will be visible on final pictures. I did not finish the work over surface of model yet. It will be more faded. But yet a lot of work before me.

Regards.

This is looking really great!  You do a fabulous job on the weathering making it look so realistic.  You do it so fast as well!  Smiley
