The last time any P40s raced at Reno was 1995 (P40N-Spud Lag and P40E-Sneak Attack)
I'm trying to gather some P40 racing photos and heritage information.
Does anybody have any good Warhawk pylon racing photos and/or stories?
Thanks

I don’t have most of my Air Classics anymore, but each year they would have some pretty good coverage of Reno, usually in their December or January issue.  You could look on ebay for some of the Reno issues, they usually had some pretty good photos in them.

Anyway here is a photo I found on the web of Left Gardner's P38 "White Lightning" and Steve Hinton in the P40N "Spud Lag":

Hey all it's SEPTEMBER again!
We haven't had any showings for several years (1995) and this year we have TWO P-40s at Reno!
John Maloney is flying Race-18, a P-40E called Sneak Attack
John-Curtiss Paul is flying Race-17, a P-40N called ParrotHead
They're both in the Bronze class and showing well.
Here's a pic of them together: http://www.warbirdinformationexchange.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=314840
