Excellent news, and I'm sure based on Airfix's recent releases that it will be an outstanding kit in 1/48th scale at an affordable price!  Also, from the amount of attention this announcement is already getting on other modeling sites as well, it looks to be a very successful and sought-after release.

I really hope they get everything right and it has a nice fairly accurate cockpit, if so, they will sell like hotcakes! They do seem to be making some nice new kits for reasonable prices.

This should be awesome.
I have their 1:72 Tomahawk and it is my favorite in that scale.
Their prices are super and accuracy is quite good.

This is going to be the Tomahawk kit I have been waiting for!

Thanks for posting! That's looking pretty promising and hopefully the cockpit is as good as the drawing. Hopefully the exchange rate isn't too bad.

Hopefully with the release of this kit, some new and different decal markings will be marketed as well.  I would like to see some more "Tomahawk" markings, such as Alan Rawlinson's  "SWEET FA" from 3 Sqn RAAF.

I think the release of this kit is supposed to be this month, October 2016.
