I received this request for information on these P-40s, does anyone have any information on them? I looked through my stuff, but was unable to find anything on these particular aircraft.

I'm a scale modeler in Oregon, and I also design decals as a hobby. I've been recruited to make some decals for P-40s from the Flying Skulls (79th Fighter Group, 85th Fighter Squadron),

particularly these four:

Blue Goose II, X16, 41-19814, pilot Lt. John G. Hoagland
The Crump Machine, X36, pilot Lt. Thomas E. Cox
Oh, Honey, X11, 41-14492, pilot Lt. John R. Anderson
The Tennessean, X33, 41-14522(?), pilot Lt. William Ryburn

Both I and my "recruiter" have scoured the Internet and contacted several experts, but we're having trouble finding high res photos of the tail art and the cowl lettering, which was hand-written and doesn't match any standard typeface. I've attached some of the best reference art I have for each of those four aircraft.

Can you help?

Hi, just joined the group. I'm the modeler who initiated this request, and I look forward to your input. Thanks in advance!
