Sad to see a man lost his life in a P-40 after all these years...
I saw that one at "Warbird Weekend" in Atlanta in 2016.
The photos in the article are hard to see because they make you watch a 30 second ad each time...

Yes, that was very sad to see. He was from Minnesota where I live. I only saw a couple photos, and they were at a distance, one article I read said there was an apparent mechanical malfunction. I've been looking through my airshow photos, I thought I saw it at an air display nearby a few years ago.
